Tell your Alders and the Mayor to preserve the Farm rather than destroy it.
I want to have my voice heard, but how do I know who to talk to?
There are three Aldermanic districts in Columbus. Each has two Alders. These six Alders, plus the Mayor, comprise the City Council. They will decide the fate of the Dingee Farm.
Consult the map on the right to determine your district. Generally speaking, if you consider yourself to live in downtown Columbus, you are probably in District 1. If you live to the south or southeast of downtown Columbus, you are probably in District 2. If you live anywhere outside these two areas, you are probably in District 3.

Who is the Mayor?
The Mayor is Joe Hammer and he represents all Columbus residents, regardless of District. He was elected in April 2023 and during his campaign, he told constituents that he disagreed with the City’s purchase of the Farm. He also stated that the City should not be in the housing business and that he would seek to return the Farm to private hands as soon as possible. Despite all of this, the Mayor cast the deciding vote against our proposal in November. He is up for re-election in 2025.
